About Me

Hi, my name is Yash. I am currently a graduate student at Purdue University in the Gambaro Graduate Program of Aeronautics and Astronautics. My specialization within the program is propulsion with a focus on rocket propulsion. 

My undergraduate journey within the Aeronautics and Astronautics School was unlike anyone else. Initially, I sought out to pursue a structures specialization, however after taking AAE339: Aerospace Propulsion for non-propulsion specializations, I realized that propulsion is my passion. With the help of my professor, we were able persuade the school to let me change my specialization to propulsion, something that is not allowed. Since taking that class, I have made an effort to take as many propulsion courses as I can.
